Gobble Gobble!

I love Thanksgiving. It is perhaps my favorite holiday. I love getting together with my family, catching up, relaxing, and eating lots of good food. To me, it is less stressful than Christmas. Don't get me wrong, I really like Christmas. This year will be a blast since B is 2 and will really be into the lights, fun, and excitement of the season. To me, that is what makes Christmas tolerable. I think my true enjoyment comes from seeing the holiday through a child's eyes. It makes me feel like a kid again and reminds me that Christmas morning can be one of the most exciting mornings ever. However, for me, I still like Thanksgiving more. Maybe it's due to the fact that I usually drink wine with my mom the night before (not this year, obviously) and have some pretty fun talks. Whatever it is, T-day will still be my favorite.
